Who It's For


Single Life Workshop (SLW) is for any single adult who wants deeper, healthier relationships — whether you're currently dating, hoping to date, or simply want to grow. It works two ways:

  • On your own: Complete each session at your own pace, with prompts designed for personal reflection and prayer.
  • With friends: Gather a small group and go through SLW together, discussing each session before moving to the next — this is how the material was originally taught, and many people find it richer in community.


SLW works well both as an introduction to these tools and as a refresher after attending a live Single Life Workshop event. It's a different experience from attending a live SLW Workshop in person — if you'd like information about live workshops near you, visit nothinghidden.com.

How It Works


SLW is a 10-session, on-demand video course featuring approximately 6.5 hours of teaching. Each session includes one or two teaching videos, a matching audio option, supporting resources, and a written activation exercise. The activation is where the material becomes personal, so plan for additional reflection time beyond the teaching itself.


Recommended Path


We recommend one session per week. This gives you room to sit with what you've learned, complete the activation exercises, and let the material take root before moving on. Because your access never expires, there's no need to rush — you can always slow down, speed up, or revisit a session later.


Choose Your Experience


Going through SLW on your own? Set a consistent day and time each week, and treat it like an appointment with God.


Going through SLW with friends? Agree on your pace together, and set a regular time to discuss each session before starting the next one. Community makes the material richer and keeps everyone accountable.

Session 1 — Intro + "Connecting With Jesus" Activity: Ground your identity in how God sees you, and practice a simple exercise for hearing His voice in your relationships.


Session 2 — What Is Coming Against You?: Recognize the lies and patterns that get in the way of healthy relationships, so you can address them head-on.


Session 3 — Pursuing Relationship With The Opposite Sex (Part 1): Learn a biblical framework for approaching dating with courage instead of fear.


Session 4 — Pursuing Relationship With The Opposite Sex (Part 2): Go deeper into practical steps for building a relationship with intention.


Session 5 — Taking Away The Horribleness Of "No": Learn to give and receive "no" without shame, protecting your heart and others' in the process.


Session 6 — How To Listen Well: Practice a listening exercise that builds real emotional connection.


Session 7 — How To Bring God Into Your Relationship: Discover practical ways to keep Jesus at the center of a dating relationship.


Session 8 — Sex Before Marriage, Dating Non-Christians, & Dealing With Pain: Get honest, biblical guidance on some of the hardest questions singles face.


Session 9 — Embracing Our Sexuality: Understand your sexuality as a good gift from God, not something to fear or hide.


Session 10 — Sex Talk: A direct, grace-filled conversation to close out the course.

Barry & Lori Byrne | NHM Founders & Directors

Barry Byrne has been a marriage and family therapist for over 30 years, as well as a devoted student of God’s Word. He has ministered at Bethel Church in Redding, California in the Transformation Center both as a teacher and supervisor to the counselors. His wisdom, experience and anointing in the area of Spirit-led inner-healing are powerfully matched with the Father’s heart of love to bring about life-changing breakthrough for hundreds of clients and participants.

Lori Byrne is a fourth-generation pastor with a strong gift of discernment and the prophetic. Having counseled people for years within the church, she draws from a vast wealth of wisdom and experience in connecting and building intimate relationships in the body of Christ.

Barry and Lori have been married since 1979, and currently reside in Redding, CA and are on staff at Bethel Church. The delight of their lives are their 4 adult sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren, who are all involved in various ways with their ministry.

Brendon Byrne | SLW Co-Founder

Brendon Byrne is a life coach, speaker, and author. With a degree in Psychology and years of experience as a men’s purity group leader, Brendon has helped countless individuals move towards sexual purity, freedom in areas of struggle, and deeper connection in their relationships and with God. He’s committed to empowering others like you to continually move toward the abundant life we are all meant to live. He currently lives in Redding, CA.

Jeremy Byrne | SLW Speaker

Jeremy Byrne lives in Redding with his wife Britt; they moved up from Los Angeles in 2019. He has completed two years of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. Jeremy has his own relationship coaching practice, is a licensed cosmetologist (hairstylist), a commercial actor, co-hosts a podcast, writes music with his brother Justin as part of the duo Jer & Jaws, has a YouTube channel with his wife and leads worship at their church in LA. He combines his life experience with God, his talents as an entertainer, and genuine love for people to lead singles into breakthrough while having fun.

Justin Byrne | SLW Speaker

Justin Byrne is a musician/songwriter who has written and co-written many songs performed by Bethel Church (Redding) and Jesus Culture. He is currently living in Redding producing music as well as editing special NHM media projects. This course will bless you as much as you are willing to receive and flip the flow of your life. Not only do you learn more about God's way and why it is better, you also learn practical principles to create a healthy, well-boundaried relationship. I especially love the prayer in Session 9 because God is God and he is GREAT and is right on time (I really needed it). There is a poignant point made in Session 7 or 8 (I think) that emphasizes experiencing pain instead of avoiding it so you can learn the Truth. God will absolutely meet you in those places and give you a deep revelation. This is so important in our culture (US), which is so heavily reliant upon frequent inspiration (think memes, quotes, single lines of scripture on framed pictures) when it is actually calling out DESPERATELY for revelation (wisdom) and the peace that comes with it.
